1998
Abstract A new species of monostiliferous hoplonemertean, Eonernertes xiamenensis sp. nov., is described from the coast of Xiamen, P. R. China. It differs from the type species, E. macrophthalma Gibson, 1990, by having a head with a pair of transverse cephalic furrows, a filiform body possessing a line of blackish brown spots along the mid-dorsal line between two blackish brown dorsal bands, a well developed excretory system not extending throughout the body length and with few flame cells, a blood system without distinct vascular valves.
