The invention belongs to the technology of aircraft tool manufacturing, and relates to a method for locating and installing a locating piece through a threaded hole. A thread detection tool and a simulation analysis method on a computer are adopted for overcoming the shortcoming that the tool manufacturing accuracy is reduced due to the fact that the locating piece with a threaded locating hole cannot be accurately located and installed on a tool through an optical detection instrument, namely a laser tracker. The laser tracker is used in a cooperated mode to conduct installation, and the installation coordinate accuracy requirement of the threaded locating hole in the aircraft tool is guaranteed. The working efficiency and the installation accuracy are high. Tests prove that when the method for locating and installing the locating piece through the threaded hole is used, the locating coordinate installation accuracy of the threaded locating hole in the aircraft tool achieves 0.02 mm and is more than five times higher than that of an original method. The aircraft product manufacturing accuracy is improved by 5 times-10 times, and the working efficiency of aircraft tool manufacturing is improved by 5 times-10 times.
