Research Aim: Reflection of public culture in the works of Mohammad Reza Bayrami based on throry of Lucien Goldman Research method: The research method in this dissseration is of a type of library and content analysis. Findings: Four novels “Shadow of grasshopper, Arbitrary Fire, Suspended Bridge, An Arid Land” are the works of Mohammad Reza Bayrami. He is one of successful writers in narrative literature (holy defense) that have gotten considerable fortuity. With regard to the effects of environment, cultural issues, and society on these novels and as the main indexes of these above mentioned works, this present inquiry evaluates public cultural reflection into these four works with the help of sociological literature of Lucien Goldman’s viewpoint. The result of this research reveals that the usages of proverbs, adduce to public poems through the novel, proceeding to the social customs, cultural and religious issues, and indications to the public notions for instance: superstitious beliefs, misfortunate, fortunate, prayer, curse, gestures, proceeding to the nature of the village, veneration of village, … are the prominent public cultural elements of these works. Conclusion: The yields of study demonstrate that: 1. Public culture, the role of environment and author’s personal experience of war had overriding effects of evolving writer’s mind. 2. According to Goldman viewpoint and with regard to the structures and contents of the under scrutinizing works, the writer is the tongue of his society and reflects the social, cultural and political issues of his contemporary community in his works. 3. Not only the cohesiveness through the elements of public culture with the subject of holy defense and literary Resistance states the ingenuity and adroitness of the writer, but also exhibits the effect of unconscious power of him in the way of creating connectivity between public culture and the elements of holy defense is inevitable.
