The present invention discloses a pipeline monitoring system for a water-based pigment make-up system in a pigment coating workshop. The water-based pigment make-up system in the pigment coating workshop comprises a plurality of color modulation cylinders used for modulating required colors. Each color modulation cylinder is communicated with a plurality of fundamental-color make-up tanks. The fundamental-color make-up tanks are used for preparing the required auxiliary materials of fundamental-color pigments. Each fundamental-color make-up tank is communicated with a corresponding fundamental-color emulsion metering cylinder and a fundamental-color emulsion auxiliaries metering cylinder. At the same time, all fundamental-color make-up tanks are communicated with a co-solvent metering cylinder and a water metering cylinder. Each metering cylinder is communicated with the fundamental-color make-up tanks via a pipeline and the pipeline is provided with an electric control valve. The electric control valve and the driving mechanism of each fundamental-color make-up tank are connected with a controller on a control panel. The driving mechanism of each fundamental-color make-up tank is in linkage with the electric control valve on the pipeline thereof. The electric control linkage is creatively introduced to the pipeline monitoring system, so that the wrong batching is effectively avoided. Meanwhile, the production is ensured to run smoothly, and the production efficiency is improved.
