Implantación del "Lean" en un hospital. Caso CSG

espanolEl Lean Management puede ser de mucha utilidad en el sector de la sanidad, pero tiene que adaptarse a los aspectos diferenciales de cada caso concreto. A pesar de esto, persisten barreras para la implantacion, que pueden superarse mediante el estudio de las bases del Lean. En este caso, se describen las raices teoricas de los modelos de implantacion y la metodologia del Lean y se aplican a un consorcio hospitalario. Las claves del exito han sido la seleccion de los proyectos en la fase inicial, la identificacion de los agentes del cambio, la formacion especifica, la metodologia escogida y el esfuerzo e implicacion de los profesionales. Este caso permite constatar que no se observan diferencias de metodologia, herramientas o cultura respecto a implementaciones en otros sectores. EnglishLean Management can be very useful in the field of health, but must be adapted to the distinctive features of each case. However, there are still barriers to the implementation, which can be solved by studying the foundations of Lean. In this case we describe the roots of theoretical models and the implementation of Lean methodology and we apply it to a hospital consortium. The keys to success are the selection of projects in the initial phase, the identification of agents of change, specific training, the methodology chosen and the effort and involvement of professionals. This case is useful to conclude that there are no differences in methodology, tools and culture compared to implementations in other industries.
