Solutions of the Schrödinger equation for a superconducting weak link constriction ring

Abstract A single-particle Schrodinger equation approach is used to calculate magnetic susceptibilities of a SQUID ring in terms of the conventional Josephson potential for such a ring. We show that for physically reasonable parameters of the ring we can generate susceptibilities which correspond closely with experiment.
