For the Construction of Learning Opportunity for Program Manager -Trial Development of Open Club of Program Manager

Life 100 years era has been coming by the development country the most important in recent social and economic conditions. The importance of re-education and the recurrent education is increasing with the acceleration of the society. A growing demand for the program manager(PM), as a special type of personnel in charge of the planning and administration of research and development projects, is highlighted in the 5th Science and Technology Basic Plan, and policies for nurturing PMs and promotion of their activity. This article introduces the their activities, implemented by Japan Science and Technology Agency, in a state of the activity of the "Development of the learning opportunities for the PM graduates" carried out from October 2017 to March 2018 and discusses its significance, problems emerged, and future expectation.
