A CACHING ALGORITHM FOR LOCATION-AWARE INFORMATION DISSEMINATED THROUGH BROADCAST MEDIA

In this paper, the authors present a cache system for reducing the waiting time for location-aware information that is managed by in- vehicle computers that are part of mobile communication systems. Employing a distributed memory system, the cache system is used to disseminate geographic map data to the in-vehicle computer systems.
