Connected Mobility and the Spatio-temporal Continuity of Activities

2016
Mobility can be seen as a space-time in which activities take place, and particularly more and more connected digital activities resulting from both the spread of smartphones throughout society, and the improvement of connection quality in public transport. While the space-time in which people move about remains very specific in terms of the unfolding of activities, the fact that mobility is increasingly connected contributes to reducing differences between the space-time of movement and other space-times of daily life.
