Adaptive Network-based Fuzzy Inference System Modeling for CoagulantDosing Process in a Water Purification Plant

In this work, we proposed a modeling method for calculating the dosing coagulantrate in a waterpurification plant by using the historical jar-test data and the quality data of raw water. The coagulant reaction to the turbidity is, however, not yet to be clarified and the amount of coagulant can not be easily calculated. In this work, FCM-based adaptive network-based fuzzy inference system(ANFIS) is employed to model the coagulant reaction and the historical jar-test data are used to train the ANFIS. From this, we obtained better performance than previous works and finally validated its efficiency by a set of real field data.
