2 kV generator for subnanosecond pulses

The design approaches to the application of powerful rectifier diodes operating in a step recovery mode for the development of generators of subnanosecond pulses are discussed. An example of a 2 kV, 0.7 ns generator with a 10 kHz repetition rate is described.
