A systematic study in high magnetic fields of fine-mesh photomultipliers for time-of-flight detectors

The performance of fine-mesh photomultipliers with a diameter of 1 in., 1.5 in. and 2 in. respectively has been measured in magnetic fields (up to 1.2 T) to determine gain and timing properties. Rate capabilities have also been studied.
