A Review of Community Participation in Tourism

Some scholars have investigated into community participation in the process of tourism development since 1970s.Community participation is considered to be one of the ideas and ways to promote sustainable development of tourism.The article searches and analyses the literatures of community participation in tourism nearly ten years.Most of the These literatures,from two angles of theory and case,analyze basic theory of community participation,significance,the present situation and the reasons,countermeasure study and other problems,which belongs to the logic of application research.The community participation all over the country are different,and need to be further studied.
