The invention discloses an air sweeping control method and device of an air conditioner. The air sweeping method comprises the steps that indoor environment data of the air conditioner are collected, wherein the indoor environment data comprise the indoor environment temperature; the environment temperature difference and/or the indoor temperature change rate are/is determined based on the indoor environment temperature and temperature standard parameters obtained in advance; an air sweeping adjustment angle corresponding to the environment temperature difference and/or the indoor temperature change rate is obtained; and the angle of an air sweeping mechanism of the air conditioner is adjusted according to the air sweeping adjustment angle. By means of the air sweeping control method and device of the air conditioner, the technical problem that the intelligent degree of the air sweeping function of an exiting air conditioner is low is solved, and the angle of the air sweeping mechanism of the air conditioner can be changed along with changes of the indoor environment data.
