An amphiphilic block copolymer and its use for the manufacture of polymeric membrane filtration

The present invention relates to an amphiphilic diblock copolymer consisting of: - 40 to 60% by weight, based on the weight of the copolymer, of a hydrophilic block comprising at least one unit derived from a monomer of acrylate, n-butyl and at least one unit derived from a methacrylate monomer, hydroxyethyl, and - from 40 to 60% by weight, based on the weight of the copolymer, of a hydrophobic block comprising at least one unit derived from a methacrylate monomer methyl. The present invention also relates to the use of said copolymer as an additive for the manufacture of a polymeric membrane filtration.
