Wybrane parametry procesu tarcia powłoki ochronnej formowanej metodą IBAD na powierzchni polietylenowej panewki biodrowej

The article presents results of tribological tests for f 28 mm head-cup friction couple, which is the motion system of the hip endoprosthesis. In the studies femoral head made of CoCrMo alloy and polyethylene acetabular cup with C-C coating made in Institute of Nuclear Physics of Polish Academy of Science were applied. Investigations were performed in Laboratory of Surface Engineering and Tribology in Metal Forming Institute in Poznan using SBT-01 simulator. Friction moment, contact force, joint temperature and o 28 mm friction elements wear were investigated. This results was compared to results of friction couple: CoCrMo femoral head and UHMWPE acetabular cup without ion formed coating. There are presented and discussed investigations results.
