3-D Seismic Design, Distortion During the Acquisition.

2006
In 3D seismic acquisition, it could expected that when the design is drawn on the terrain, the maximum quantity of stations can be located in the theoretical points and be conserve in a high percent the geophysical attributes. Nevertheless, local conditions –environmental norms and social patterns- restrict the final location, which implies the individual or multiple displacements of stations to the locations not planned in the original design, causing distortion directly to it.
