Design and Component Selection of the Train Power Supply System

In order to improve the lower power factor,output voltage fluctuation and other defects of the existing train power supply system,the design of the main circuit based on the rectifier Diode + IGBT buck chopper was tried out in this paper.By PSIM software,the working cases of different input voltage of the main circuit were simulated.The results showed that it makes the output voltage stabilizing between 595~605V in 0.3s and the Power Factor exceed 0.9,meets the demand of the train,the main component selection was given.The paper can provide preliminary solutions and technical support for the existing train power supply system renovation working of railway technical department.
