SINS/CNS Integrated Navigation System for Ballistic Missile based on Maximum Correntropy Kalman Filter

2018
SINs/eNS integrated navigation system is a high precision navigation for ballistic missiles. Non-Gaussian noises often exist in the navigation process, which can lead to the divergence of the filter method. A new Kalman filter using maximum correntropy theory is introduced to handle non-Gaussian noises. The robustness of it is analyzed briefly. To verify the superiority of the new algorithm, experiments of the SINS/CNS loosely coupled integrated navigation system were conducted. The calculated results show that the new filter has a higher accuracy used in a ballistic missile in the presence of non-Gaussian noises.
