Benutzbare Sicherheit — Herausforderungen und Modell für E-Commerce-Systeme

The guarantee of security and privacy is the crucial factor for the success of e-commerce. Up to now, security tools for expressing the individual interests of security and privacy in a simple way are lacking or not suitable for every user. This article discusses the reasons why user interfaces are not usable and shows new designing concepts for user-friendly security software. By means of a model, based on Petri-nets, it is illustrated, how these concepts are realized in a practical way.
