Service control technology for advanced intelligent network. To construct ervice independent platform for NSP and switching systems

Two steps are required to facilitate quick response to the wide range of customers' service needs and to enable the processing of such large-scale data as that involved in personal communications. First, platform functions which are not dependent on specific services must be developed. Second, service control functions must be improved. This paper discusses how these steps can be achieved in Network Service control Points (NSPs) and switching systems on advanced Intelligent Network (IN)
