A related line set based preset fault set search algorithm in reliability assessment

In terms of the point that traditional reliability assessment method is unfocused on each single planning project and has dimensionality problem by using specified fault set. A fault set search algorithm based on related line set is proposed in the paper. Firstly, the paper introduces the quantitative evaluation index of reliability influence which can reflect the reliability contribution rate of single planning project and could as a reference for the decision-making department. Then, the k shortest paths is presented to form the related line set as the preset fault set instead of using traditional specified fault set. Using the related line set as the preset fault set can downsize the fault scanning range and reduce the computing time. Finally, the paper takes the IEEE39 system for example to verify the correctness of above-mentioned algorithm by using traditional specified fault set and the related line set to calculate the index QRI separately and getting the same results.
