Characteristics of Short Current for Double Fed Induction Generation Considering Rotor Current Dynamic Characteristics

Study the fault characteristics of doubly-fed induction wind generator(DFIG).Since that the influence of converter control system on grid fault is non-negligible,on the basis of the transient process of grid DFIG under short-circuit fault,this paper derived the short circuit current dynamic expression of DFIG with the influence of the rotor converter output on rotor circuit considered.Then symmetrical short-circuit current characteristics of DFIG were analyzed and the effect of the control parameters of the rotor side converter on symmetrical short-circuit current characteristics were found.Finally,PSCAD/EMTDC was used for the simulation analysis.The simulation results show the influence of DFIG converter control system on grid fault characteristics,and it provides a foundation for the fault diagnosis and analysis of wind power system.
