Nouvelles approches dans la detection et l'estimation des formes des potentiels evoques

1982
Summary Averaging is a simple technique for improving the signal-to-noise ratio. This technique is generally used in electroencephalography and electromyography for the detection and estimation of evoked potentials, superimposed by background activity and induced by a stimulus. Errors made using the averaging technique, due to noise characteristics and signal hypothesis are discussed. Several different processing techniques for improving detection and estimation of the shape of evoked potentials are discussed.
