A Facile, KF/Al2O3 Mediated Method for the Preparation of Functionalized Pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7(8H)-ones.

Abstract A series of functionalized pyrido[2,3-d]pyrimidin-7(8H)-ones were prepared by a KF/Al2O3 mediated condensation of 4-(alkylamino)-2-(methylthio)pyrimidine-5-carbaldehydes and phenyl acetic acid ester derivatives.
