Determination of Matrine in Fufang Kushen Lotion by HPLC

ObjectiveTo establish a method for determining matrine in Fufang Kushen Lotion by HPLC.MethodsKromasil C_(18) column(5 μm,4.6 mm×200 mm) was used.The mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile-0.1% phosphoric acid((5.5)∶94.5)with flow rate 1.0 ml·min~(-1).The detection wavelength was set at 210 nm.The column temperature was room temperature.ResultsThe linear range of matrine was at the range of 0.39～2.60 μg(r = 0.999 1).The average recovery was 96.32% and RSD was 1.16%(n=5).ConclusionThe method is rapid,highly accurate and precise.It can control the quality of Fufang Kushen Lotion.
