Laboratory Rearing of Lignicolous Coleoptera (Cerambycidae)

An artificial diet that has been used to rear 26 species of boring cerambycid beetles is described. Development of the insects in the laboratory varied from partial to total completion of the life cycle. This method has been useful in taxonomic and cytogenetic studies.
