Territorios en red mallas ecosistémicas de conexión regional

2020
This undergraduate work is carried out with the intention of publicizing an academic response to the current conflict that is taking place in the Ubate and Chiquinquira Valley, the product of a complex and chaotic territorial system that at the moment has not allowed it to project itself as a autonomous territorial piece and that meets the standards to carry the adjective of regional prosperity. The work is part of a commitment to develop an instrument in which the municipalities (urban and rural capital) plan the planning of the territory on the environmental axis and the management of the water resource as the structuring axis of all the programs arranged there. In the Ubate and Chiquinquira Valley, an undeniable disarticulation in the dynamics and processes of the territory is evident, as a result of the excessive pressure on natural systems for the supply of agricultural activities, causing fragility in the ecological network of the region. In addition to this, we find the precariousness of the technological coverage and the rudimentary production network that currently and among other things is input-dependent, also translated into the obsolescence of milk production methods and the deterioration of the practices of culture. This causes a high condition of expressed territorial fragility, in the depreciation of the quality of life of the inhabitants and the loss of productive capacity, framing it in an unsustainable medium and long-term context for the same territory. This development model aims at creating an agro-productive network in communion with the environmental network that, without being compact, contributes to the generation of new centralities. Not only depending on the large urban centers (Chiquinquira and Ubate) but on the strengthening of the existing ones. It will be a response to the conflicts of the valley territory using the theoretical tool of the territorial meshes and hand in hand with the theory of urban networks in this case applied to the regional territory. As a model, it is emphasized in polyvalent networks with double schema and vertical and horizontal application, this in terms of socio-spatial relationships and cultural landscapes, and simultaneous relationships of interdependence with the main network To approach the development of this academic exercise and respond to the complexity of the territory, it is important to understand it as a heterogeneous entity, with unique and unrepeatable features that are part of a whole that makes up the same space. It is a living entity that is made up of communities of living beings supported by the natural environment in which they live. That said, the result must point to a socially and environmentally readable model, communities must be participants in the restoration and empowerment of the territory, which is why an absent response from humanity would be empty and insufficient, given the current conditions and needs of the study piece.
