Avaliação in vitro da microinfiltração em restaurações classe V em dentes decíduos utilizando diferentes resinas compostas
2011
This study evaluated the mar-
ginal leakage in deciduous teeth
restored with three different light-
curing composite resins. Twenty-
seven deciduous teeth were used,
from the Human Tooth Bank at
FOUSP, on which class V cavities
were made. The samples were di-
vided into 3 groups, of nine teeth
each, according to the restorative
material used: G1: Z-250; G2: Fil-
tek Supreme and G3: A-110. The
samples were submitted to ther-
mal treatment (250 cycles), im-
permeabilization and immersion
in 1% blue methilene solution.
They were sectioned in longitudi-
nal mesio-distal direction, making
a total of 54 samples for analysis.
The evaluation was carried out
by a calibrated examiner, with
a 10x magnifying glass. The re-
sults were evaluated through the
KruskalWallis test. The means of
the positions were: G1 = 24,3; G2
= 43,4 and G3 = 25,1. The three
groups presented microleakage in
varied degrees, however G1 x G2
was statistically significant (p<
0,05) and G1 x G3 and G2 x G3
presented no differences.
Key words: deciduous tooth, den-
tal leakage, composite resins.
