Circuito educacional da produção sustentável de alimentos na Fazenda Água Limpa - UnB

The diversification of activities and didactic resources in the educational practice contributesto motivate the students, allowing to attend to different needs and interests. At Agua LimpaFarm of UnB is the Headquarters of the Technological Vocational Center in Agroecology andOrganic Agriculture of the University of Brasilia (CVT AAO UnB). The technical team of CVTAAO UnB conducts guided tours of school classes presenting the spaces where vegetables,fruits and grains are produced, the importance of science and the fundamentals of organic andagroecological production. The objective of the present work was to present and evaluate theeducational actions to sensitize the school community to organic production and the principlesof agroecology and sustainable food production. The educational activities developed withthe visitors showed the importance of awakening society for the appreciation of the organicprocess of food production as well as the importance of preserving the environment for themaintenance of natural resources in respect to the earth and future generations.
