Multi-time Scale Collaborative Optimal Dispatching Strategy for Island Micro-grid With Multi-distributed Power Generation

The island independent micro-grid is a complex and independent power grid system. Its power dispatch is a dynamic problem with nonlinearity, multiple constraints, and multiple time scales. It is aimed at multiple distributed power sources (such as wind turbines, concentrating solar power(CSP), and diesel generation). For the complex coordinated optimal dispatching problem between independent micro-grid systems of units, an independent micro-grid coordinated optimal dispatching strategy based on the idea of multi-time scale optimization is proposed. This strategy adopts the method of “day-ahead optimization & intra-day rolling”. Make decisions on the start-stop and output plan of each diesel generator set, and the power generation plan of the CSP, and constantly revise it. This strategy can effectively reduce the impact of forecast errors, thereby improving the stability and economy of independent micro-grid operations with multiple distributed power sources.
