Can paid reviews promote scientific quality and offer novel career perspectives for young scientists

We exemplify how community driven paid reviews could work in conjunction with a feed-back loop to young scientists. This would remove pressure from the conventional peer-review system and promote the integration of reviews into an academic career. This concept may eventually revive the community based journal type.
