L-shell X-ray production cross sections of 55Cs, 56Ba, 57La and 64Gd for protons of energy 1-2 MeV

The L-shell X-ray production cross sections of 55Cs, 56Ba, 57La and 64Gd for protons of energy between 1.0 and 2.0 MeV have been measured. From the experimental data, the X-ray production cross sections for the L alpha 1-2, L beta , L beta 2-15, L gamma 1 and L gamma 2-3 lines have been extracted. The experimental results are compared with the theoretical predictions of the perturbed stationary-state model, corrected for Coulomb deflection and relativistic effects.
