Atmospheric correction of airborne hyperspectral remote sensing data for inland water applications

2018
Atmospheric correction is the process of removing the contribution of unwanted atmospheric signal from the total signal recorded by a satellite or airborne sensor in order to retrieve the desired water-leaving signal. This study focuses on atmospheric correction of airborne AVIRIS-NG data and estimation of Chlorophyll-a in inland water bodies with implications for water quality monitoring and assessment.
