The invention relates to a hydraulic cylinder, a manufacturing method of the hydraulic cylinder and a hydraulic spring operation mechanism using the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic cylinder comprises an outer mold cavity and an inner mold cavity located inside the outer mold cavity; the inner mold cavity is made of steel and is provided with a piston cavity matched with a piston; and the outer mold cavity is formed by aluminum alloy casting, and an oil way is arranged on the outer mold cavity. A cylinder body of the overall hydraulic cylinder is divided into two parts including the inner mold cavity and the outer mold cavity, the inner mold cavity is prefabricated and molded through the steel, is used in cooperation with the piston and can bear higher oil pressure, stress deformation is resisted, and the higher mechanical reliability is achieved. The outer mold cavity does not need to bear higher oil pressure, so that aluminum alloy materials are adopted, the overall mass of the hydraulic cylinder is much lower than that of a hydraulic cylinder made of steel wholly, the product weight is greatly reduced, machining, transporting and assembling are facilitated, stress of an ultra/extra-high voltage switch barrel in butt joint with the hydraulic cylinder is further improved, and the mechanical connecting reliability is improved.
