[Comparative analysis between qualitative and quantitative features of orofaringeal and tracheo-bronchial bacterial flora in normal subject (author's transl)].
1976
: In 28 subjects surely without tracheo-bronchial phlogosis it had been observed that the trachea and the bronchi are mostly sterile, only rarely there is a normal bacterial flora. In the mouth and in the pharynx there is instead, almost always, normal bacterial flora and only exceptionally potentially pathogenous strains at a concentration inferior to 10(7).
