Parallel Calculation Method of Line Loss Based on Decomposition and Coordination of Tie-line Extended Area

2019
In order to meet the online computational demand of theoretical loss for large-scale network, this paper proposes a parallel calculation method for line loss based on the decomposition and coordination calculation model. On the basis of network partitioning, different types of networks can select appropriate power flow algorithms. Further utilizing the tie-line extended area, a double-layer iterative mode is introduced. The outer iteration of the boundary vector is used to realize the unification of power flow for the whole network, ensuring that the parallel algorithm has the same convergence as the traditional method. The parallel program code is written by MATLAB parallel toolbox and tested on the IEEE14 node system and the actual regional power grid. The results show that the proposed method has good computational accuracy and convergence ability, and the acceleration effect is obvious, which has certain application value.
