A Study on Usage of Transfer of Learning in English Teaching

Based on the theories of cognitive psychology and behaviorism,this paper explores the transfer of motivation,emotion strategies,cognitive structure transfer strategies and metacognition strategies to construct a framework of the usage of transfer of learning in English teaching.An empirical study of teaching shows that the application of the general transfer theory in English teaching has obviously increased learners' interest in learning and the effectiveness of learning.
