The invention relates to a method for palletizing stacks of flat objects formed by. For palletizing stacks (2) formed by flat objects (3), preferably stacks of bags or bags of which the bottoms (4) are laid flat, the batteries are deposited in layers upon each other on a pallet so that the batteries of each layer overlap at least two stacks (2) of the layer underneath.
