Future horizons of bionanocomposites

Abstract This chapter highlights the scope and recent trends of bionanocomposite technology for food, biosensor, biomedical, and environment applications. Processing methodology, analytical techniques, computational modeling, and property relationships are discussed to broaden the view of bionanocomposites for green products. Additionally, technical challenges in production and commercialization of bionanocomposites have been addressed and reviewed, keeping in mind the future prospects of this emerging technology.
