Presenting the New Incoming Editorial Team for HEPATOLOGY: Team Members and Perspectives.

Since its inception, the flagship and initial journal of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD) HEPATOLOGY has changed editorial teams at five-year intervals (Table 1). Each team has leveraged the success of the prior team to enhance the status of the journal, increasing its value to the AASLD membership, and expanding the readership. Over the last 40 years, HEPATOLOGY has evolved from a mission of aggregating knowledge on liver diseases and liver biology to a more selective journal.
