Compressive GLRT detector for radar system

This paper investigates the compressive signal detection problem for radar system in the presence of compoundGaussian clutter. An effective random measurement matrix is designed for unknown signal detection problem in clutter-dominated environment. In order to not use reconstruction algorithm which would increase computational burden, we first represent the signal component within the basis of a dictionary, whose elements have a physical interpretation. Furthermore, a compressive GLRT detector is derived. The performance of compressive GLRT detector is analyzed. We also provide its theoretical bounds with experimental results.
