Traceable Calibration Chains of the National Bureau of Metrology

This paper shows the importance of the development of Metrology concerning the concept of quality. After presenting the role and the activity of the National Bureau of Metrology (BNM), as well as the structure of a calibration chain and accredition procedure, we will consider the improvements that quality specifications can bring to people responsible for industrial calibration laboratories.
