A Summary of 5G applications and prosprcts of 5G in the Internet of Things

With the rapid development of information technology, people's communication methods are also constantly improving. As the most popular communication method, 5G has received widespread attention from all walks of life. This article introduces the development history of 5G and some key technologies used in 5G, such as: Orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) technology and flexible frame design. It also introduced some important applications of 5G in the Internet of Things, and looked forward to the development prospects of 6G.
