The purpose of this argumentative essay is to generate a point of reflection about the martial practice and its influence on the different pedagogical, methodological and didactic aspects that can bring to the academy from the vision of Hapkido teacher, through different points of view, going from its history, to trying to elucidate what is happening to be able to develop some important points from the perspective of the "western" teacher, and thus be able to find what they have in common and from that construct to strengthen that vision of teacher supported from the martial perspective, also demonstrating what competencies must have both, in addition to generating items for reflection about the own practice that starts from the beginning of the experience and the theoretical, technical and philosophical bases of each reader, so that a space of self-criticism is created so that they can improve their teaching work in a real social context.
