Configuration Synthesis of Side Door Latch Power Release Mechanism

For satisfying the need of vehicle electrical release function, and a new power release kinematic branch chain is added for the latch only existing vehicle side door latch with inside release and outside release function, based on planar mechanism topological graph theory. The topological configuration synthesis of inside release, outside release and power release is integrated by a single open chain superposition method. The structure of the mechanism is described by using the double-colors topological graph of the single-opened chain and the topology graph with three release branch chain is obtained. Constrained by the movement compatibility of each kinematic branch in the door latch, the structure type that satisfies the functional requirements is preferably selected, and the configuration design of the power release function is realized. Finally, the preferred scheme complete the power release kinematic branch by adding motor, worm gear and other driving mechanisms, and make a physical latch to verify the feasibility of the program.
