Noise and Vibration Analysis of Dry-Type Distribution Transformer in Semi-Anechoic Room

A transformer noise and vibration test platform in a semi-anechoic chamber environment is built in this paper. A prototype of a three-phase dry-type distribution transformer with a rated load capacity of 800 kVA is used as the test object. The noise and vibration of the core and windings under different load conditions are tested and analyzed in detail. The results can be referenced for noise and vibration control of distribution power transformers.
