The oil contains few subjects Nonsaponifiable AND, ABOVE ALL, THE smallest possible amount of sterol cyclopropane structure NOT been recognized as food components, and is suitable for the production of food, particularly baby food. THE EDIBLE OIL CONTAINING ACID ARACHIDONIC ORIGINATES microorganisms contain no more than 0.8% by weight, preferably not more than 0.6% by weight, unsaponifiable MATERIALS AND 20% OF YOUR WEIGHT OR MAS arachidonic acid. In addition, this edible oil contains no more than 0.3% by weight, preferably not more than 0.15% WEIGHT, OF 24,25METILENOCOLEST-5-EN-3 BE -OL. Microorganisms are belonging to the subgenus Mortierella of the genus Mortierella and capable DEPRODUCIR ACID arachidonic acid. These microorganisms belong to the genus Mortierella species alpina. Also presented FOODS THAT INCLUDE EDIBLE OIL acid containing arachidonic acid.
