The Reduction of Greenhouse Gas Emissions in Agricultural Activities

2008
Today, there can be no doubt about global warming. The increase of anthropogenic greenhouse gas (GHG) is likely to cause the elevation of the global average temperature. Additionally, 13.5% of anthropogenic GHG emissions are from agricultural activities. Thus, we should make efforts to reduce GHG emissions, even in the agricultural field. However, quantitative discussion about GHG emissions in the agricultural field is not sufficient yet.
