This paper introduces the high-level forum on coping with the international finance crisis, the opportunities and challenges for Chinese construction and real estate industry organized by Management modernization professional committee of China Construction Industry Association,School of management in Harbin Institute of Technology,and Construction Management Modernization editorial department. Each topic and main points of view of various speakers in invited lecture and in oral presentation are summarized,which provides strategies and decision-making references for the healthy development of Chinese construction and real estate industry under the condition of international finance crisis.
